Rather than being your thoughts and emotions, be the awareness behind them.
— Eckhart Tolle

Brothers & Sisters,

When the inevitable time comes in which we are to say goodbye I'll take the memory of you along with me. And when I feel like all the air has been taken from my breath, I'll find you in the deepest recesses of my heart waiting for this very moment to comfort me. The truth is I can't imagine a life without you, but I know it will someday be a reality. And as time passes and the memories of your face become more distant, I'll try and hold on tight knowing that it's fruitless for me to do so.

I'll miss you with every fiber of my being. I'll try and appear strong on the outside, but inside I'll be crumbling and trying to hold it all together as I watch my world collapse around me. See, you mean the world to me and I might not tell you that enough, but I know when that day comes I'll feel the weight of the world come crashing down around me.

I know we'll see each other again and that will be the hope that I will forever hold on to. I'll catch you up on everything you missed, and we'll smile together again, everything will be alright with the world once more.

I love you, and I'll miss you.

Yours,
Jeff
