Endless

I wonder what someone gets out of my abstract thoughts especially these on proximity. It occurs to me that sometimes I just have broken fragments of ideas running through my head that I type and leave for you. Is that ok? Does that spark thought? There are often times I write these letters and find myself going back to them to continue the loop or close it on thoughts that I've had. Many times though I just find more layers of the onion to peel back and explore some more. For someone who likes to think deeply about things, I think life, love, faith, God, purpose, and happiness can be subjects that can be looked into endlessly.

Inspiration: Eckhart Tolle

Enjoy this selection of Eckhart Tolle and the Journey into the Now. This is quite possibly one of the best talks he's ever given and it starts off blowing your mind and keeps it going for the entire 35 minutes of the talk. Eckhart is an impressive, mentally deep, thoughtful human being with a great sense of humor. He has a way with the crowd and exudes this amazing magnetism. Enjoy my friends, I know I did.

I want you to be extraordinary

I've been thinking about this post all day, attempting to unwrap my thoughts and present something that isn't a complete mashup of stuff to you my dear readers. It should come as no surprise to you that I'm probably the biggest cheerleader you never knew you had in your life. But for argument's sake let's break this down a bit more.

On Love.

Everything changed when humans discovered fire. In an instant, the world became a different place. How many other times in our history has this happened? I would argue that since the discovery of fire there hasn't been an event of that magnitude since. Sure, computers, automobiles, electricity, and other things were discovered that have changed our lives drastically but none so much as the discovery of fire. Father Pierre was onto something when he spoke about harnessing the energies of love. I've been thinking about the quote mentioned above for quite some time now. There are so many layers to peel back but let us just talk about love and see where it takes us.

Dust to Dust

There are very few things more certain than life than the fact that time will always keep ticking whether we like it or not. Time doesn't care about you or me and operates entirely independently of everything else in this universe. While these concepts might sound like no-brainers have you ever stopped to think about the idea of time in depth?

Adventures in Teaching III & IV

Whether it is a group of college-aged students, adults or middle-schoolers even attempting to think the scales of knowledge tip mostly towards the professor would be an incorrect assessment. While the teacher might hold a specific greater knowledge about the particular lesson that is taught the students possess knowledge about a slew of other things that perhaps might prove invaluable. Therefore the proctor should never hold themselves in too high of esteem as to not be able to listen to the crowd of voices and the knowledge it contains. An open mind can usually correlate a classroom lesson to a happening in life where an equal or greater lesson was also learned.

Living your Best Life

At some point in your life, the time will come where you'll have a pause from the hustle and bustle of your 21st-century life and contemplate whether or not you're living the absolute best life you can live. This might sound very cliche but stick with me here.
